Dimensions BPS-SB-2000C are available in a wide range of sizes. The following chart indicates the approximate stand-size range. Tolerances In the standard finish, the tolerances is symmetrical, half above and half below the nominal size. Other tolerances can be discussed in table. Thickness tolerance The standard tolerance Width tolerance, B1 The standard tolerance Thickness tolerances, T1 See the standard tolerances Physical properties The physical properties of a steel are related to a number of factors, including alloying elements, heat treatment and manufacturing route, but the data presented below can generally be used for rough calculations. 218 000 210 000 210 | Dimensions Thickness BPS-SB-2000C is supplied in standard thicknesses in accordance with the table below. Finishes Edges Edges are slit and deburred. Flatness Maximum out-of-flatness across and along the steel belt is 0.30% of the nominal steel belt width. Surfaces Material is delivered white polished, free from oxide discoloration and with uniform colour and dust free. Surface roughness Maximum surface roughness values, cut-off 0.25 mm (.0098 inch), are shown in the table below. Surface defects A small number of surface defects, such as pits and roll marks, with a depth or height of up to 15 µm (400 µinch) maximum is allowed. The maximum scratch depth allowed is 22.0 µm (180 µinch). Straightness Out-of-straightness is defined as the maximum deviation from a straight-edge of specified length. The following values apply:
